To my amazing sister Ann, I love you with all my heart! What a grand show of love you have given me! You have helped me cross of an item from my bucket list in the funnest and most grand way I know! We flew to Albuquerque New Mexico on 11 October 2012 to attend the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!!! What an amazing vacation with my best friend. Saturday morning was magical to say the least. Perfect day, perfect sunshine, perfect companion, perfect everything!

Balloons of every shape, color, and size! A feast for the eyes on every level. I love this one, oh I love this one too, no I think I love this one more...oh I love them all. And then there was launch...I couldn't take my eyes off the sky, in every direction. That could explain the stiff neck, LOL!

I wouldn't have wanted to share this wonderful, magical experience with anyone other than Ann. She makes it so much fun, so great! We laughed, oohhed, and awwed more than anyone else on the field I think. We didn't care, it was so neat to see. I felt spiritual too, which seemed odd, but not out of place. Everyone there seemed to be feeling a little happier, a little more spiritual I think. So much fun, so little time!

11,000 feet above Albuquerque is where the tram took us on Monday morning. What a great day that was for both of us. Not just the trip up the mountain, but the talk, the life sharing, the bonding we did. I will treasure those few hours for the rest of my life. I always learn and grow so much when I am with my Ann. You have such insite and such life experience to glean from. Thank you for sharing this special trip with me.

My second all time favorite balloons were the bees. They were so fun to watch and they danced, flew, and twirled with the morning breeze. Almost like they were alive!

Did I say fun?!!! I sure did, after getting up so early and watching the morning launch we threw down the blanket on the grass with thousands of people walking by, and rested! Whew what a day, what a ride, what a great time with my BFF.

So cool! I love you tons and will get a post up soon. I have thought a lot about the whole trip but the day we went to Santa Fe and the day up on the mountain were truly amazing, thought provoking, freeing and fun. Thanks for making this dream a reality!
