Until I saw this picture, I didn't realize just how poor we were. It makes my heart hurt for all of us and makes me so thankful to mom and dad that they did everything they could to give us the very best they could, including the ability to rise above our humble start and become successful people. I am just thankful there aren't pictures of the inside of the house...
