Goals to start the year

I've been making a list of goals to keep me headed in the right direction.  I think if I share them with you, I will probably be more likely to get them done, so here we go... I'm sure I will add others over time.
-Read a fun book every month, this month it is Unbroken
-Cuss less, try to remove profanity from my daily language
-10,000 steps a day along with sit ups, squats, lunges building up to 100 of each daily
-I will be happy and joyful, looking for the good in all circumstances
-I will strive to have a positive outlook
-I will forgive easily and often
-2 long cross country flights in my plane, first goal is Breckenridge, TX
-Trip to Palm Springs to visit Aunt Doris
-Finish my GIA course
-Seek a new employment opportunity or start my own business
-Strive to be more spiritual, seek good things, meditate and remember the sabbath
-Finish my taxes before March 31
-Look for opportunities to provide service and pay it forward
-Spend time with my parents

Be thankful for the gifts in my life and be mindful of miracles and thank Heavenly Father more often for all I have been given and that would especially mean YOU!

  1. Isn't that intersting that some of your goals ended up being some of mine. We are more alike than we think, or maybe they are just worthy goals that everyone should have. Either way I think it was intersting to read yours after I wrote mine. I will read yours often to help keep you on course. I would LOVE to be able to go on one of your cross country trips if you need a co pilot. Let me know when so I can block off my work schedule. That will motivate me to get someone hired soon so they can take over while I am gone. I actually FB messaged 3 friends that work in the dental field to see if they have anyone in mind that we could consider for a job. I am excited to get working on my goals and have started some. Any good suggestions for healthy breakfast - I know fruit is great but it si so costly right now?! Love you tons and keep on posting. I will download pics tonight of our new years hike up Shinobe Kob mesa to find the last of the concrete airline markers. What a great hike that was, so cool! Huggs
