I just couldn't resist this picture of my Jack and his dog. Animals have a way of making us feel safe (or scared in my case sometimes). I watched the interaction of this little boy with his dog and it was really something. He respected the dogs will and knew when to back off and give it some space. I guess that is another lesson we can learn from a dog. We need to know when people need us and want us close and when the don't. We need to know when people just need space.

The best game ever...my best toy ever...and you are not going to take it away! Isn't it the truth. Have you ever felt that you are having such a great time at something and you just want to keep doing it, you want it to never end? I know you have, just like me. I find that is the way it is when I come over to visit you, I just never want to come home. This last visit was especially special that way for me. I felt so comfortable, so in my element and so in tune with myself. I felt and extra special connection with you and we shared some special talks. I didn't want it to end, but alas we have to go back to the real world, but for one space in time I wanted it to go on forever. Sometimes I watch a movie that I never want to end, sometimes it's a book I am reading or a song I am listening to...always it's the best and that is why we don't want it to end, thank goodness for memories...we can relive that moment over and over again.

The dog rules the roost. He knows he is loved. He knows he will always have dinner, a pat on the head. And a nap with Brandon. It really is a dogs world
