Just a heads up that Bruce is heading to Hurricane tomorrow for about 3 weeks or until your big birthday! Not that you'll probably see him much but check on him once in a while to make sure he hasn't fallen somewhere and broke a hip or something...just kidding. The old retired guy is loving not having to go to work although I don't think it has really sunk in yet. He probably just feels like he's on vacation or something. I'm glad he's going for a couple of weeks, it will gives us both some adjustment time. I'll be heading over sometime around the 4th, just not sure what day yet.
Well, I need to go make amends with Lucy, she got excited and tinkled on the carpet, so I grabbed her by the back of the neck and put her outside. When I went back out to get her she ran away from me, so I need to let her know she is still loved before she falls asleep for the night.
